Benchmarks can say a lot about a graphics card, but many makers have tried to cheat the tests. Some video card makers have gone as far as making specials ROM feature that allow their card to perform better on the benchmark test, but this makes the benchmarks an inaccurate way to judge how fast a graphics cards really is.
